This weekend we have a crazy sour collab release. This was brewed in conjunction with Rusty Nickel Brewing, Lilly Belle Meads and Eli Fish Brewing Company.

Open Boxes – Smoothie Sour – 6% ABV – The concept of this was bit crazy. We were going to make a thick puree fruit smoothie style sour, but here’s the thing, we could not discuss what we were going to bring. So the combination was completely at random. So the combination of banana, pineapple, prickly pear, blackberry, paw paw, cranberry & dragonfruit (w/lactose) was a gamble. Now it paid off into a deliciously tart, creamy and fruity smoothie that tastes eerily like smarties! Each location is limited to 8 cases. It will go up for presale tomorrow, and limits will be announced.

Storm Mountain Sour

(available Saturday, June 26, 2021)

This kettle sour is conditioned on 100 pounds of BlackBerry puree and then blended with rum and ginger extracts. This cocktail infused sour is perfect for the warm, summer weather. Stop over and try it!

Photo Finish – Ruby Raspberry Dry Hopped Cream Ale – 4.5% – Crisp and dry cream ale, brewed with pilsner malt and flaked corn, then dry hopped with Motueka. Blended with grapefruit and raspberry to bring a delicious summer crusher. Obviously has hints of grapefruit and raspberry but the surprise to us is the lemon and lime citrus notes on top of that.

Friday (May 7) our 4 packs go on sale, with the formal release this Saturday (May 8).

Our Pop-Up Beer Event on Saturday (February 13) at the Rochester and Genesee Valley Railroad Museum was awesome. Thanks to everyone who came out to visit and support this event, celebrating the Lehigh Valley “Hammerhead” #211 locomotive. We have 4-Packs still available of the Hammerhead IPA – 6.2% at the brewery, so stop by or pre-order before it is all gone!

West Shore Brewing is teaming up with the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad museum in Rush, NY, to host a special beer sale pop-up event on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 11am to 4pm!

West Shore is celebrating the release of their new Hammerhead IPA, a beer inspired by the Lehigh Valley “Hammerhead” Alco RS-3 211. This double-dry hopped recipe features Centennial, Simcoe and Mosaic hops. Also available will be Green Flyer New England IPA (inspired by Green Mountain Railway Alco RS-1 405), Gandy Dancer Raspberry Pineapple Sour, King Edward Porter and the new Imperial Banana Cream Pie Stout! As a railroad-inspired brewery, West Shore Brewing is proud to support the volunteers of RGVRRM who work hard to preserve our region’s railroad history. As thanks, a portion of each sale will be donated to the museum. All beer sold as four-packs of 16 oz. cans, available for pick up at the museum on Saturday, February 13, 2020, from 11am to 4pm.

The museum is located on Route 251 at 282 Rush Scottsville Road, Rush, NY 14543.

Special IPA done in conjunction with the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum and inspired by their preserved locomotive Lehigh Valley 211. This soft and hazy NE IPA can be said to be inspired by our Green Flyer release. However, with a different yeast strain and hopping schedule, including a DDH of Mosaic and Simcoe. This IPA is bursting with resinous pineapple and tropical citrus and mango notes.

All Items are available for pre-order which is recommended as some items are limited and will sell out. Portions of every sale are being donated to the museum. As a Railroad Inspired Brewery, we are proud of the hard work conducted by the Museum and we want to preserve the history they strive to protect. All orders will be picked up on 2/13/21 at the Rochester museum from 11am to 4pm, regardless of time and date that is auto generated. Check our “NEWS” tab for more information.

Open Bags Sour IPA – 5.5% – Collab with Lily Belle Meads and Eli Fish – Sour IPA with Strata, Galaxy, Azacca and Cascade blended with blood orange, lime and a touch of wildflower honey. Dry, crisp and extremely aromatic.
